Organizing Your Own Scrapbook Retreats

Scrapbook retreats are fun, creative and a relaxing way for girls of all age groups, to unwind and explore their creativeness. Typically they include overnight stays, on the weekend. The price for these retreats can range significantly when you account for accommodation, scheduled activities, instructors, destinations, plus foods and drinks. However , the good news is you can organize one of these events for yourself and others at a small fraction of the price.

First Things First

The first few things you’ll need to consider when organizing a retreat is space. The location and the quantity of guests. the number of people attending will identify the amount of space you’ll need. If you've got a very big home, then you will be in a position to accommodate a decent number of ladies. If you live in a smaller home or apartment, then you’ll only have enough space for potentially 3-5 visitors.

The other choice is to lease space. You might hire a cabin or maybe a nice suite in a luxury hotel while. Make sure that during the event, there’s enough space for everybody to lay out all of their materials to be able to work easily.

Food

During scrapbook retreats, you and your friends must eat so figure out a meal plan. It is best to get everybody’s nutritional wishes or preferences previously. Decide how the meals will be prepared, purchased or cooked. You’ll decide that pizza, Chinese or another kind of delivery will be fine. Or perhaps you want to have home-cook meals. Typically, when meals are cooked during an event, everybody takes turns cooking and then cleaning later.

Supplies

You can offer a major percentage of the supplies, the fundamentals or have the players bring all of the supplies themselves. If you're providing the supplies, an idea could be to focus on a theme for the event, this can also make the shopping way easier for you.

Budget

Lastly make sure you have a budget. It’s simple to over-spend with scrapbook retreats. The best way to tackle this is first write down the cost of meals, location, supplies and any extra activities that you wish to include. With the itemized list of all of your costs, divide the full amount by the quantity of attendees in order that they can each pay for their portion of the expenses.
