This fourth iteration in the Olympus digital PEN line could be the best. Sharpness is outstanding by using excellent lenses and distractions is reasonably well controlled about ISO 800. The Olympus E-PL2 and E-PL1 became suitable for casual end users. i purchased the Olympus PEN E-PL2 with both lens kit that carries a lightweight 40-150mm telephoto lens. The included MN. Zuiko telephoto the lens quality is compact and well-defined enough, but the more mature ED Zuiko 40-150mm lens, which can be used on this Micro Four-Thirds camera via the MMF-2 adapter, is actually sharper. Sadly, the elderly ED lens and adapter equipment, which was a wonderful value when selling for under $200 like the $130 MMF-2 adapter, is actually substantially more expensive and no longer nearly as excellent a value.
